Do refilled toners last the same as new ones?

That depends on many factors. One is, the quality of the refill inks you use. Another is how well you do the refill.

Assuming your doing it yourself.

On the other hand if you purchase good quality factory refills, it should be the same as a new cartridge.Do refilled toners last the same as new ones?
I personally don't like the refilled.

I've had problems with the quality and the quantity more than once! They will replace it free usually, but who wants another after a problem?

If you need to print anything important, keep a spare and replace it as soon as you install the last remaining one.

Seems to always be problems when I need it most!Do refilled toners last the same as new ones?
supposed to last long or longer than new ones but it all depends on how it was refilled and how much it was refilled, if you want you can try to contact these store www.optinex8@yahoo.com they supply a remanufactured toner and it is a good quality
If you buy them refilled from a reliable source, it's ok.
In general, I hear that refills do not last as long. I also hear that some GENERIC toner modules do not last as long.

Some claim that refill and generic toner modules are not good for your printer. Something about the grain of the toner itself, that does not meet the manufacturer's spec.

It would be great if CNET.com or other websites reviewed these sorts of products. After all, what's the sense of reviewing printers, where the REAL cost of a printer is in the lifetime of inkjet or toner modules that you put into it.

STAPLES, for instance, is a big promoter of recycling toner modules, and has their own brand of generic toner modules. I only buy HP for my HP LaserJet, but the savings is pretty tempting.

A friend of mine bought hundreds of BRAND X inkjet cartrides, only to learn that they lasted about half as long as the name brand. But this worked out OK for him, since the discount price was about a third of the regular inkjet cartridges. He used them to print thousands of brochures, and went through dozens of inkjet cartridges. He was also using three computers with three different printers. YES, he spent DAYS printing this stuff.
They can if they are good quality

How do I remove the toner cartridge from hp laserjet 1010 and also how do I replace it.What about refilling.?

Open the front door, pull the cartridge out with the tab sticking up at you. Not sure if you can refill this type, but they're relatively cheap to replace.

    Cheers.

In computer there is any option to count printing from the date of refilling cartrej or toner ?

It's not a practical proposition. Ink use is dependent on print content.

Laser printer is printing dirty pages after I refilled the toner. Please help!?

I purchased a new drum unit for our Panasonic KX-MB271 laser printer and it worked pretty well until the toner was low. I went on amazon and found one of those refill kits which was basically a bottle full of toner and I just refilled it following the directions. I'm not sure what happened but a few days later whenever I would print anything the paper would be dirty. Even when I printed out a blank white sheet of paper, it would come out lightly tinted gray. Could I have spilled toner on the rollers or something? I disassembled the printer and tried cleaning it but the problem is still there. I don't want to get rid of this printer since I just spent $100 on a new drum unit for it. Please help!Laser printer is printing dirty pages after I refilled the toner. Please help!?
Is this is a drum/toner cartridge that you refilled? or a separate toner cartridge from the drum?

If it is a combined toner/drum cartridge that you refilled then I'd say that the cartridge is just worn out. These cartridges are not built all that well to last for more than they were intended. There are other internal parts that control the toner application, clean the drum and store waste toner that need attention too. If the waste toner part is full then you'll get this toner coming back out onto your prints. If the drum cleaning parts are worn out - same thing. I really don't ever recommend refilling toner cartridges as there are so many other things that can, and will, wear out and other potential problems from doing so. Also the re-fill toner may not have been of the proper quality as the ones in the cartridges.

I'm sure the printer is still fine, but recommend purchasing a new, or at least a professionally re-manufactured cartridge (though there can be problems with these as well many times). I know they are expensive, but provide more consistent good quality prints.

Best of luck.Laser printer is printing dirty pages after I refilled the toner. Please help!?
If u still have to software for it, install it and use the cleaning utility.

After refilling the toner cartage how do I bypass low toner warning on my MFC-7420 Brother printer.?

Try turning off your printer and unplugging it for a few minutes. This clears the memory and sometimes makes the printer recognize that the cartridge is no longer empty. Other than that, unfortunately there is not a whole lot you can do. Sometimes stuff like this just happens when you refill, especially laser toners.

Ignore the the dangerous posts. I've been working on copiers and printers for over 25 years The WAS some copper in some early brands of toner. There is carbon in the dry stuff and you can get black lung if you sit in a cloud of the stuff for weeks. The manufacturer's all have MSDS at there sites if in doubt read them. I would do it in a garage or outside the first time and wear old clothes !
    Yes.

You can do that at cheaper cost.

Let me know your place of residence.

If in Bangalore, I can give the address of the re-filler.
No you cannot there are dangerous chemicals in the toner.
but its needs soft hands hard to open its cover.do cleaning if neccesary .just put required amount of powder like refil in it.
