I think they are sealed. I've found that generic replacement cartridges are usually good to use. Sometimes when I refill a cartridge it doesn't work because the cartridge itself is bad.

Can someone explain to me how to refill toner in my canon pc 140?
That's something that needs to be done professionally. I have a friend who does it professionally and he said that it reqiures alot of work and taking apart of the cartridge ect....it would be better for you to simply purchase a compatable cartridge if your goal is to save some money from purchasing an original cartridge.Can someone explain to me how to refill toner in my canon pc 140?
